Suicide Prevention Education for Trusted Companions

This pathway prepares Trusted Companions to support Veteran suicide prevention by noticing changes over time, checking in with care, having supportive conversations that reduce isolation and encourage help seeking, and helping Veterans connect to resources. Safeguard Certified — Trusted Companions (Veteran Track)

Draw on your shared experience of service to recognize when a fellow Veteran may be in crisis. Learn how to start supportive conversations, reduce stigma, and connect peers to resources that can save lives.

VA S.A.V.E.
